Job Summary:
Applications are invited to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh for the post of Research Assistant in the Department of Immunopathology. The position is purely on a contract basis and attached to the research project entitled “Identification of Novel Fibrosis and Apoptosis Signatures Playing a Role in the Pathogenesis of biliary atresia” funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research.
This is purely a temporary and co-terminus with the project, which is likely to be ended on 31-Dec-2024. Candidates working under different research schemes and desirous of applying for this post must surrender an NOC certificate from their employer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in research activities related to the project on biliary atresia.
- Perform molecular techniques, bioinformatics, and immunoassays as required by the project.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: MSc in Immunology or Biotechnology.
- Desirable: Experience in molecular techniques, bioinformatics, immunoassays, etc.
- Age Limit: Below 30 years.
