As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards in food safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished chocolate products.
✅ Conduct hygiene controls for both operations and personnel, ensuring health safety and compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards and Slovak legislative requirements.
✅ Collect raw material and environmental samples for microbiological analysis, maintaining accurate records using the SAP/KPA system.
✅ Monitor and evaluate lab test results using advanced laboratory and computer technology.
✅ Handle sterile lab preparation, infectious material disposal, and supply management.
✅ Develop and update microbiological testing plans in line with HACCP and quality assurance protocols.
✅ Engage in continuous professional growth and contribute to innovation in the lab.
📚 Qualifications & Skills You’ll Bring
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A secondary vocational school degree focused on microbiology or food science.
- At least 2 years of professional experience (experience during studies counts!).
- Strong independence, attention to detail, and knowledge of microbiological methods.
- Ability to sensory assess food quality.
- Basic proficiency in English.
- Bonus: Experience in team leadership.
- Flexibility to work 1-2 weekends per month.
