💼 Position: Research Technician

Job Type: Full-time (35 hours/week), Fixed Term (1 year 10 months initially)

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🧪 Conduct novel research in DNA damage repair mechanisms
  • 🔬 Perform mammalian cell culture, live-cell imaging, and CRISPR screens
  • 📊 Present research in lab meetings and seminars
  • 📝 Maintain accurate lab records and databases
  • 🤝 Train others and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications:

  • 🎓 BSc or MSc in Biological Sciences or related field
  • 💼 Research experience in a technical or scientific role
  • 🧠 Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • 🗣️ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • 🦠 Tissue/cell culture experience
  • 🧬 Molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning)
  • 💻 Programming skills in R and Python
  • 🔧 Cell line engineering experience
