📍 Location: Offline (Ahmedabad) and Online
💼 Position: Genome Analyst
🎓 Qualifications: MSc/BSc in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or Bioscience
- Professional Education: Post-graduate in Science Stream with Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Bioscience
- 1 year of relevant experience in Biosciences (Freshers are also welcome!)
📊 Reporting Structure:
Reports to Technical Supervisor and Head of Department
🔬 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis and interpret variants/mutations causing genetic disorders using standard ACMG guidelines
- Collaborate with expert team in the analysis and interpretation of NGS analysis and genetic testing results
- Determine complete DNA sequences and perform genetic mapping to understand diseases
- Manage clinical report generation and work closely with the genome analyst team to meet turnaround times (TAT)
- Generate reports for interpretation purposes using standard formats
- Support data analysis of projects
- Work closely with reporting managers to improve the quality of the reporting process and the reports themselves
💡 Required Skills:
- Proficiency in NGS data analysis
- Understanding of genetic disorders and ACMG guidelines
- Experience with DNA sequencing and genetic mapping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
