About the Karaayvaz Lab: Our lab focuses on groundbreaking research in:
- Cancer biology
- Genetics and genomics
- Tumor microenvironment
- Biomedical sciences
- Biochemistry
Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead independent research projects
Analyze and interpret data, prepare manuscripts
Perform mouse studies
Collaborate with team members and train lab personnel
Required Qualifications:
PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field (MD with lab experience may be considered)- Research experience (graduate work qualifies)
Scientific writing experience
English proficiency (proof required for certain visa statuses)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in informatics- Recent PhD/MD graduate
Manuscript writing experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for lab work
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
