🔬 Position: Research Associate
Department: Physiology (School of Medicine)
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Type: Full-time | Regular Employee
Salary Range: Up to $65,000 annually
📝 Essential Functions:
- Conduct lab-based experiments and clinical/population science research.
- Design, perform, and analyze research protocols.
- Collect, log, and analyze lab results, clinical outcomes, and survey data.
- Prepare and present findings at scientific conferences.
- Assist in manuscript writing and academic publications.
- Maintain lab equipment and order supplies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and protocol guidelines.
- Collaborate with PIs, postdocs, and staff.
🎓 Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in science acquired through specialized study.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
- Prior experience in basic research techniques preferred.
