💼 Job Summary: Microgrid Lab Technician
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Microgrid Lab Technician to manage the setup, maintenance, and smooth operation of our Microgrid Lab. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in technical environments and enjoys tackling electrical challenges.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Perform soldering, wiring, and panel assembly for microgrid systems
- Support installation and commissioning of lab equipment, converters, and battery systems
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE electrical safety standards
- Regularly conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of lab equipment
- Calibrate and test power meters, sensors, and instruments
- Handle inventory, PR (Purchase Requests), and GRN (Goods Receipt Notes)
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and troubleshooting
- Maintain records for purchases, warranties, and service contracts
- Conduct safety audits and train team members on lab safety
- Create maintenance schedules based on usage and manufacturer guidelines
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- ITI/Diploma with 4+ years of industrial experience
- Proven track record as a technician in microgrid or related fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards
