As a Scientist I in Cell Biology, you will be part of a team dedicated to producing high-quality biological samples for research and product development. Your work will directly impact the performance and optimization of cell culture workflows, consumables, and life science reagents.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Aseptic handling, expansion, and maintenance of mammalian cancer cell lines, primary cells, and stem cells.
- Execute pharmacological stimulation and inhibition studies, and prepare cell lysates for downstream assays like Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunofluorescence.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and cell culture parameters in electronic lab notebooks.
- Plan and carry out scientific experiments, and contribute to technical documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate across R&D teams to meet program goals with precision and integrity.
🧠 Essential Skills & Qualifications
✅ Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or other Life Sciences.
- 0–3 years of experience in cell culture, molecular biology, or related laboratory settings.
✅ Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of protein biology, molecular techniques, and cell culture basics.
- Experience with stem cells, primary cells, or immortalized cell lines.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with GraphPad Prism is a plus.
✅ Preferred:
- Industry exposure and scientific writing skills.
- Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
- Certification in GLP, GMP, or EHS protocols.
