The candidate will be responsible for the synthesis, purification, and characterization of novel chemical compounds, contributing to drug discovery projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in organic chemistry and be capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Synthesize, purify, and characterize novel chemical compounds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work collaboratively within a team to advance chemistry projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the safe conduct of chemical reactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate expertise in basic and advanced organic chemistry, functional group conversion, and multi-step synthesis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze NMR, IR, and Mass Spectrometry data with proficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adhere to safe laboratory practices at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exhibit enthusiasm and a willingness to stretch when project challenges increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilize computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and structure drawing software (ChemDraw\/ISIS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain records in an electronic lab notebook.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct literature searches using Reaxys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Educational and Essential Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or related field\/M.
