This is your opportunity to work alongside a dynamic R&amp;D team at <strong>Royal Agrifirm Group<\/strong>\u2014a global leader driving innovation in sustainable food and animal feed solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are offering an exciting <strong>student internship opportunity<\/strong> for Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s students who want to make a real impact in the protein transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83e\uddea Your Mission: Rethink Protein with Fungal Fermentation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of Agrifirm\u2019s <strong>Biobased Technology R&amp;D Team<\/strong>, you will work on a cutting-edge fermentation process that transforms <strong>low-cost agricultural by-products into protein-rich fungal biomass<\/strong>. This biomass is being developed as a circular, sustainable alternative to soy in animal feed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Design and run your own lab-based fermentation experiments<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate lab and pilot-scale bioreactors<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct assay analyses to study growth-promoting\/inhibiting factors<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research scientific literature to support experimental findings<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help optimize the production process of this innovative feed ingredient<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83c\udf93 Ideal Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for students who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enrolled in a <strong>BSc or MSc<\/strong> program in <strong>Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, or Microbiology<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledgeable in <strong>fermentation, microbiology, nutrient composition, or bioprocess design<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experienced in <strong>chemical and microbial lab work<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analytical, independent, and pro-active<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 Bonus if you have a passion for <strong>fungal fermentation<\/strong> and want to contribute to the future of <strong>sustainable animal nutrition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83c\udf0d Why Choose Agrifirm?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>Royal Agrifirm Group<\/strong>, we\u2019re not just about research\u2014we\u2019re about <strong>creating real-world change<\/strong>.
