Key Responsibilities:
Design and synthesize complex organic compounds, including Helicon™ peptides
Perform solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) using automated synthesizers
Collaborate across teams to drive discovery and development of Helicon™ peptides
Analyze and present data to team members and company leadership
Support development efforts at CDMOs through direct interactions
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry
- 0-2 years of post-PhD experience
Strong understanding of synthetic organic methodologies
Advanced proficiency with modern analytical tools (HPLC, LC-MS, etc.)
Proven track record of scientific contributions (publications, patents, presentations)
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SPPS and peptide modifications
