⏰ Job Type: Full-time (35 hours/week), Fixed Term (1 year 10 months initially)
Key Responsibilities:
- 🧪 Conduct novel research in DNA damage repair mechanisms
- 🔬 Perform mammalian cell culture, live-cell imaging, and CRISPR screens
- 📊 Present research in lab meetings and seminars
- 📝 Maintain accurate lab records and databases
- 🤝 Train others and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Required Qualifications:
- 🎓 BSc or MSc in Biological Sciences or related field
- 💼 Research experience in a technical or scientific role
- 🧠 Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- 🗣️ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- 🦠 Tissue/cell culture experience
- 🧬 Molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning)
- 💻 Programming skills in R and Python
- 🔧 Cell line engineering experience
