🎓 Qualifications:
- M.Sc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotech
- 1-3 years of experience in peptide Chemistry
🔬 Core Purpose: Synthesis of peptides from milligram to multi-gram scale & maintenance of all peptide synthesis/related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct solid phase peptide synthesis and characterization using HPLC & LCMS
- Plan and execute daily operations in peptide synthesis lab
- Identify synthetic routes for conformationally constrained and derivatized peptides
- Prepare protocols, guidelines, and SOPs for lab equipment and processes
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
- Maintain Syngene’s quality standards
💡 Required Skills:
- Expertise in synthesis of long chain, branched, labelled, disulphide, lactam and head to tail cyclized peptides
- Independent operation of peptide synthesis and characterization equipment
- Strong scientific/technical expertise in peptide chemistry
- Understanding of safety, health, and environmental processes
