About the Role: Join a dynamic team developing innovative technologies to explore viral replication at the molecular level. You’ll be engineering affinity reagents to target viral antigenic landscapes, using molecular recognition motifs as probes and crystallization chaperones to uncover novel mechanisms of viral disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- 🧫 Conduct recombinant protein expression and purification from E. coli and mammalian cells
- 📊 Perform protein characterization using chromatography, ELISA, and BLI
- 🧬 Carry out plasmid manipulation, mutagenesis, and sequence analysis
- 🔬 Engage in antibody display and engineering
- 📋 Manage laboratory operations and organization
- 🧠 Implement new knowledge and methods
Ideal Candidate:
- 🎓 BS in Biological Sciences or related fields (molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, infectious diseases, microbiology)
- 💪 Hard-working with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 🧪 Experience with basic molecular biology, cloning, and aseptic techniques
- 🔬 Prior experience in recombinant protein expression, purification, and characterization
- 📈 Ability to perform scientific research tasks and operate required equipment
- 📊 Skilled in generating, recording, and compiling research data
