Salary Range: Up to $61,008 per annum

Job Summary:

The Yang lab at the Department of Pathology and Immunology, Baylor College of Medicine, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Postdoctoral Associate. The successful candidate will contribute to groundbreaking research in cancer biology, focusing on therapy resistance and MAPK4 biology in human cancers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research on cancer biology projects.
  • Design and execute molecular, cellular, and biochemical experiments.
  • Characterize transgenic/knockout and xenograft models.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
  • Report findings weekly to the Principal Investigator (PI).
  • Assist in manuscript preparation and other scientific reports under PI guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No prior experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. and/or MD with prior experience in cancer biology research.
