Job Summary:
The Yang lab at the Department of Pathology and Immunology, Baylor College of Medicine, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Postdoctoral Associate. The successful candidate will contribute to groundbreaking research in cancer biology, focusing on therapy resistance and MAPK4 biology in human cancers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on cancer biology projects.
- Design and execute molecular, cellular, and biochemical experiments.
- Characterize transgenic/knockout and xenograft models.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
- Report findings weekly to the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Assist in manuscript preparation and other scientific reports under PI guidance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No prior experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. and/or MD with prior experience in cancer biology research.
