Key Responsibilities:
- 🧫 Design and perform microbiology experiments (compound screening, MIC/MBC, kill kinetics)
- 🧬 Set up immunological assays using FACS and ELISA
- 📊 Analyze data using statistical tools
- 👥 Manage a team of microbiologists
- 📝 Contribute to project management and grant writing
Required Qualifications:
- 🎓 Ph.D. in Microbiology or related Biosciences
- 💼 2-3 years experience in microbiology (pharma-industry and postdoc preferred)
- 🦠 Expertise in handling pathogens in BSL2 and BSL3 labs
- 🧪 Hands-on experience with microbiological and immunological assays
- 💻 Proficiency in data analysis and bioinformatics
Technical Skills:
- 🔬 Drug screening and antimicrobial resistance studies
- 🦠 Pathogen library management
- 🧫 Cell culture and intracellular infection models
- 🧬 Basic molecular biology techniques
- 🐁 Animal handling experience (advantage)
