Key Responsibilities: 📋
Tissue Culture & Immunological Work: 🧫
- 🔬 Maintain cell cultures and prepare sterile media
- 📊 Perform flow cytometry with pre-designed antibody panels
- ⚗️ Operate lab equipment (PCR thermocycler, flow cytometer)
- 🗓️ Weekend/holiday work may be required for cell maintenance
Mouse-Related Tasks: 🐁
- Handle laboratory mice with utmost care and respect
- Assist with breeding, ear tagging, and tail snipping
- Perform injections and monitor experimental parameters
- Conduct necropsies and create single cell suspensions
- Execute genotyping via PCR/flow cytometry
Lab Management: 📝
- 📊 Maintain detailed experimental records
- 🤝 Participate actively in lab meetings
- ⚡ Follow safety protocols and EHS guidelines
- 📦 Manage inventory and lab supplies
- 👥 Work collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications: 🎯
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in basic sciences
- 🧪 Basic lab skills preferred (pipetting)
- 🐁 Mouse handling experience (preferred)
- 👤 Strong teamwork abilities
