Key Responsibilities:
- 🧪 Execute computational analysis for various sequencing data types (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, etc.)
- 🔗 Integrate data from public resources like ENCODE, TCGA, and GTEx
- 📊 Provide analyses and visualizations for presentations and publications
- 💻 Develop new software tools for processing and analyzing sequencing data
- ☁️ Manage core online database and tools on HPC and cloud platforms
- 📚 Provide bioinformatic support and training to TCI investigators
Required Qualifications:
- 🎓 BSc or MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
- 💻 Proficiency in Python, Perl, R, and Unix
- 🧬 Experience with genomics tools (e.g., Bowtie2, deepTools, Samtools)
- 🖥️ Familiarity with HPC cluster environments
- 🧫 Understanding of genomics, cancer biology, and NGS technologies
