💼 Role Overview
As a Pharmaco-Epidemiological Researcher, you’ll be an integral part of our data-driven research team, leading bespoke projects across epidemiology, drug utilization, real-world data (RWD), and health economics.
🔑 Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise pharmacoepidemiological studies using real-world data
- Lead client-facing research projects from planning to final delivery
- Translate client objectives into tailored, high-impact study designs
- Analyze data from PHARMO’s extensive healthcare databases
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to peer-reviewed publications, white papers, and industry workshops
- Create proposals and budget plans for new business opportunities
- Actively engage with clients to maintain strong, long-term relationships
- Identify trends and propose innovative research themes and tools
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
We’re looking for someone who combines technical excellence with strategic insight:
✅ Required:
- A degree in Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related discipline
- Solid experience in pharmacoepidemiological research
- Familiarity with real-world data (RWD) and real-world evidence (RWE) methodologies
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, STATA)
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Demonstrated success in project management
- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills
