🧪 What You’ll Be Doing – Core Responsibilities
As a Scientist I, your key mission is to build stable, clonal cell lines that serve as high-performance platforms for therapeutic protein production. Your daily responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimizing stable expression systems for biotherapeutics
- Applying cell culture automation and expression vector design technologies
- Executing cell bank manufacturing processes in alignment with GMP standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Drafting detailed protocols, scientific reports, and data presentations
- Participating in client-facing project teams and providing technical expertise
- Driving process improvements for better yield and regulatory compliance
✅ What You Bring – Minimum Requirements
- M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field
- 0–5 years of experience in mammalian cell line generation (e.g., CHO, HEK-293)
- Knowledge of cell bank management and cGMP practices
- Solid background in gene editing, expression plasmid development, and vector design
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to work across scientific disciplines
⭐ Preferred Qualifications – What Sets You Apart
- Hands-on experience with CHO, HEK-293, or NS/0 cell lines
- Familiarity with cell culture automation tools and design of experiment (DoE) methodologies
- Knowledge of FDA, EMA, ICH, USP, and Ph. Eur. regulations for biologics
- Experience in client project teams and scientific presentations
- Functional proficiency in French (written and spoken) is a plus
