Key Responsibilities:
- 🧠 Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines related to clinical genetics
- 🔍 Manage the NGS pipeline, including maintenance and operations
- 💻 Work with engineering teams to manage bioinformatics workflows
- 🤝 Collaborate with wet lab scientists, clinical scientists, and software engineers to develop novel bioinformatics solutions
- 🛠️ Provide bioinformatics support to existing products
Ideal Candidate:
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field
- 💻 2+ years of experience with variety of NGS bioinformatics tools
- 📊 Strong experience in analyzing NGS data
- 🧠 Eagerness to take ownership of day-to-day production and support operations
- 🔍 Proficient in popular programming languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
- 🔬 Preferred: Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- 🧪 Preferred: Strong understanding of laboratory practices
- 🤖 A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
