Overview:
Join Baxter International Inc. as an Associate in Microbiology, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of Baxter’s life-saving products. This position is an opportunity to contribute to a global mission of saving and sustaining lives through meticulous quality control and microbiological analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review analytical documents generated during microbiological analysis for adequacy and accuracy.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-limit (OOL) results, laboratory incidents, and deviations; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Electronically sign off the final documents for microbiological analyses where e-signature is applicable.
- Approve batch calculation sheets for finished products, stability, and daily release status.
- Ensure online recording and documentation of all testing data on a daily basis, maintaining traceability.
- Review Document Change Requests (DCR) for SOPs, protocols, etc., based on change proposals.
- Review Microbiology Method Validation Protocols and Summary Reports.
- Ensure and review the accuracy of calibration documents for all analysis instruments.
- Report observations related to calibration to the Manager/Supervisor.
- Review audit trails of analytical instruments as per defined procedures.
- Notify the Manager/Supervisor of any abnormalities and non-conformities.
