Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety standards in the Quality Control (QC) laboratory.
- Conduct calibration and cleaning of laboratory equipment and instruments according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and sterilize culture media.
- Perform growth promotion tests of culture media.
- Maintain microbial cultures and ensure proper documentation of analytical data.
- Calculate results accurately and maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and supplies.
- Conduct microbiological sampling and testing, including environmental monitoring.
- Identify microorganisms using the Vitek 2 system.
- Perform daily laboratory monitoring, including temperature and humidity checks, and maintain Testo printouts.
- Manage the issuance and archival of logbooks and formats.
- Assist in validation/qualification exercises and undertake assignments given by the Lab In-Charge or Manager of Quality Control.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in microbiology and quality control in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and microbiological techniques.
