🎓 Qualifications:
- Master’s/Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related field
🔬 Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large-scale genomic data sets (WGS, RNA-Seq, Exome) using bioinformatics tools and pipelines
- Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for genomic data processing and interpretation
- Perform statistical analyses and data visualization for complex genomic datasets
- Document analyses, write reports, and present findings to multidisciplinary teams
💡 Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of genomics data formats and databases (FASTQ, BAM, VCF, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser)
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools (GATK, BWA, STAR, SAMtools, etc.)
- Experience with programming languages (Python, R, and/or Perl) for data analysis and pipeline development
➕ Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning applications in genomics
- Knowledge of statistical genetics, population genomics, or cancer genomics
- Experience in clinical genomics or diagnostics
