The ATS-Bio Robustness team plays a vital role in assay development to enhance analytical robustness across biologics and vaccines. With a diverse team of scientists and specialists, this department focuses on developing in vitro testing methods that replace animal testing to ensure ethical standards and scientific precision.
🧪 Internship Responsibilities
As a Biology Intern, you’ll support ongoing projects that contribute to the replacement of in vivo vaccine quality tests with advanced immunoassays. Your tasks may include:
- Development of immunoassays such as ELISA, AlphaLISA, or Luminex to quantify antigens
- Characterization of monoclonal antibodies for antigen specificity
- Isolation and identification of vaccine-relevant antigens to distinguish between strains
- Providing fresh scientific insights to your team
- Collaborating cross-functionally with QC, research, and development units
