π― Your Impact β What You Will Achieve
As a BioProcess Technician at Pfizer, you will contribute to the end-to-end manufacturing of cutting-edge vaccines. Your responsibilities include:
- Operating in both upstream and downstream production processes for TBE and pDNA
- Conducting sample preparation and shipment for in-process controls
- Supporting digital manufacturing systems like SAP and IMEx
- Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-functional projects
- Performing accurate GMP documentation and contributing to inspection readiness
β Your Profile β What You Bring
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Completed technical college (HTL) or apprenticeship in chemistry, biotechnology, process engineering, pharmacy, or a related field
- Prior GMP manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry
- Familiarity with electronic batch records and downstream processing
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends, including in Biosafety Level 2 and 3 (BSL-2/3) zones
- Fluent German and strong English proficiency (spoken and written)
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and organized mindset with strong team collaboration skills

The minimum gross annual salary under the Austrian Chemical Industry Collective Agreement is β¬47,532.24 (based on full-time employment). Actual compensation will reflect your skills, qualifications, and experience.
