We are now looking for a highly motivated Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our advanced metal 3D printing production team in Tampere. In this pivotal role, you will operate a state-of-the-art PBF-LB (Powder Bed Fusion – Laser Beam) 3D printing system, ensure quality-controlled production, and contribute to the evolution of cutting-edge AM workflows.
π§ Key Responsibilities
As an Additive Manufacturing Technician, you will:
- Operate and maintain advanced PBF-LB metal 3D printing equipment
- Prepare print jobs, monitor printing conditions, and troubleshoot production issues
- Perform post-processing tasks, including sawing, shot blasting, and part cleaning
- Conduct quality control on metal printed parts, ensuring compliance with specifications
- Safely handle raw materials and metallic powders
- Contribute to workflow optimization and production process improvements
- Support logistics including shipment preparation and receiving
- Accurately report print jobs, material usage, and maintenance activities
- Actively support and promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
π Ideal Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate technical expertise and a proactive, team-oriented mindset:
- Technical vocational qualification or higher in engineering or manufacturing
- Prior experience with industrial 3D printing or additive manufacturing technologies
- Familiarity with CNC machining, welding, cutting, drilling, or milling is a plus
- Experience with laser powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) is a significant advantage
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
- Proficient in CAD software and design interpretation
- Comfortable working in a production and quality-controlled environment
- Fluent in English and Finnish; strong communication skills are essential
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and highly committed to quality standards
