π― Mission
As our Laboratory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of the plant. Your expertise in sampling and analysis will directly contribute to maintaining high safety and performance standards.
π§ͺ Key Responsibilities
- Sample & Analyze oil, chemicals, water, and other substances.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
- Control hazards to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
- Execute sample analysis following approved analytical methods.
- Provide analytical support to operational staff.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Prepare detailed daily/weekly reports as required.
- Carry out crude oil, gas, glycol, and water analysis.
- Ensure the safe transportation and storage of hydrocarbon samples.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Handle chemicals safely and in compliance with COSHH regulations.
- Operate chemical injection pumps effectively.
- Collaborate closely with process systems teams and undergo training as needed.
- Uphold good housekeeping and adhere to the Permit to Work and isolation standards.
- Be fully aware of emergency response roles and responsibilities.
β Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in laboratory analysis in the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and COSHH regulations.
- Skilled in operating, maintaining, and calibrating lab equipment.
- Proficient in data logging, reporting, and chemical handling.
- Able to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to dynamic project needs.
- Willing to undergo further training in process systems and emergency response.
